Yaneva Is Suspended

We don’t know the full story but it’s still a very sad news…

The 26 year old Eva Yaneva has been suspended by the Bulgarian Federation for 2 years and has also been fined EUR 5000 due to “unprofessional attitude and failure of the code of ethics“. Ouch! Eva, who plays for Russian club team Dinamo Moscow, has apologized for her behavior she called “unworthy and that she was provoked under stress of emotion.”

Eva’s absence on the team will for sure hurt Bulgaria’s chances at the 2011 European Champs which starts on September 23rd.
