The Talking Turtle PREDICTED the teams for the FINAL 4 and this is what the Turtle sent to us a few nights ago:
(Turtle Says: The Regional Finals will be great, minus one of course (sorry PSU fans but again…here is the Final Four on a silver platter).
Prediction: First up is Pac-10 rivals USC vs Stanford. Stanford MUST provide more offense, and pick up that defense. Allowing a team to hit high numbers like that will NOT cut it ladies. This is it for the three big guns – prove what you’re made of! USC needs to remain steady, poised, and pass well. If they cannot serve tough and pass better, forget it. Stanford will certainly beat you again for a third time this season. Hhmm could this be another (2007 Semifinal) battle – one for the ages?
Result: USC 3-2 STANFORD (Wrong prediction TT!)

Prediction: Penn State vs Duke/ Texas vs Purdue – well, I am not even going there! Sorry. Texas vs. Purdue should be an interesting one. The ‘Horns will need to pass better as well. The Boilermakers are no slouch, and they have one of the best liberos I have seen all season like – completely underrated. They serve and passed tougher last night against Florida, and I expect them to do that once again. Roberson (UT), honey put some heat on it! She will need to produce a bit more than she has been lately. The sub with Dickson into the backrow – that girl will also need to play a bit better defense. Hug that back line honey. Numerous teams play too shallow and they are getting burned time and time again. Oh and what is up with defenses being lined up behind the block? HELLO!! Volleyball basics 101 people. If Texas can be fresh tonight, and Purdue play just as well as they played against supposed #1 Florida, this will too be a classic.
Result: PSU 3-0 Duke (Turtle was/is right!) and Texas 3-2 Purdue (Turtle was right when he/she said it’d be an interesting match!)

Prediction: Cal vs. Washington. Clearly the Huskies are riding a mile high right now. I mean come on, your coach even stepped in the ring for you. They will need to use that tonight against Cal. They have lost to them twice this season as well, being swept in 3 or 4. Once again your defense needs to be your kryptonite against the Bears. Cal needs to remain steady, and use their experience at this point. Senior leader Llyod wants and has been vocal about The Nittany Lions. This is your chance honey, and truth be told, Cal this time around could give them a run for their money. The Bears’ blocking and offense needs to be in sync tonight against Washington.
Result: CAL 3-0 Washington (WoW Turtle!)
