These guys are destined to make history! No doubt.
The most decorated club team , TRENTINO, seems to be having the best moments it could ever imagine! Matey Kaziyski, Os Juantorena, Andrea Sala, Jan Stokr and many more have been making headlines since the 2010-2011 season started. Well not just this season, Trentino has made headlines from previous seasons with their amazing performances and victories which include the following:
- 2009 and 2010 Club World Champions
- 2008/2009 & 2009/2010 CEV Champions League Winners
- Trentino won the Italian Cup last year and also won the Italian League the year before.
Trentino will host the Final Four of the 2010-2011 Champions League and if they win the crown for the 3rd consecutive year then they are for sure the BEST club team the world has ever seen.
The team is also making history in the Italian League with a 21 match winning streak. We have a feeling they will be the only undefeated team at the end of the league season.
Well we think they’re beatable but the great thing about Trentino is that they really know how to utilize the weaknesses of their opponents.
We give a lot of credit to the coach. Also, the team has some of the world’s best players, ie Matey Kaziyski from Bulgaria and Jan Stoke from Czech Rep. Joining the list is none other than Cuban-turned-Italian Osmany Juantorena who was named as the MVP of the 2010 Club World Championship. Trentino is also the home team of Italy’s 2 good middle blockers, Sala and Birarelli. They also have Raphael and many more.
Well Cunneo, another Italian club team, defeated them in the last 2 major Italian tournaments, Italian Cup and Super Cup, to win the 2 prestigious titles. We have a feeling Grbic, Parodi, Mastrangelo and Team Cunneo have what it takes to end Trentino’s winning streak.
