Who is she suing?
Olivia Waldowski is suing the city of Huntington Beach in California after suffering a severe leg injury during a city-hosted AVP tournament that stopped her from playing for the rest of the 2010 season.
What happened to her?
While playing, she dove for a shot and landed on a large piece of wood was hidden below the sand,. The hidden wood ripped up her leg. Ouch! Her claim states that “the city failed to dredge the courts to insure they were safe for the players.”

Olivia’s injury could’ve been avoided if the people in charge checked the court for any hidden debris. Just saying.
