That’s a LOT of $$$!
Brazilian outside hitter and 2 time Olympic gold medalist Jaqueline Carvalho has reportedly received an offer to play in the Japanese League this coming season. Hisamitsu is in need of a foreign player and Jaque is on top of their list.
To convince her to play, Hisamitsu has offered Murilo’s wife $500,000 just for one season.
Is she going to ACCEPT the offer or not?
Apparently she is NOT interested.
The reason?
According to a source, Jaque wants to stay in Brazil.
“Regardless if she finds a team or not to play in the Brazilian League, Jaque will stay in Brazil. She has received a lot of offers from abroad but she is not leaving home due to the fact she has a son.”
The source adds that Jaque is one of the richest and highest paid Brazilian players and money will not be an issue if she can’t find a club team.
“Jaque and Murilo are 2 of Brazil’s biggest volleyball superstars. They are rich. Money is not a problem.”
In case you didn’t know, Jaque doesn’t have a team yet in Brazil because of the league’s playing rating system. She wants to play for Osasco, her former club team, but the team has already reached it’s limit.
