It looks like we won’t be seeing these 2 girls posing for pics together anytime soon.
Polish setter from Yamamay Busto who won the Champions League silver medal over the weekend, Joanna Wolosz, did not hesitate sharing her thoughts on the Dream Team Of The Champions League, ie The Best Setter Award which went to Serbia’s Maja Ognjenovic.
Maja’s Polish club team Chemik Police, who also hosted the tournament, finished 4th and did not even win a single set throughout the Final 4.
In a short article released by volleyball.it, here’s Wolosz’s exact words:
“Una scelta un po’ strana premiare la palleggiatrice della peggior squadra. Mentre secondo me lei è stata la peggiore della sua squadra”.
Translation:
“It’s a bit strange to give the award to the setter of the worst team. In my opinion, she was the worst player on her team.”

Maybe Joanna is just bitter she didn’t get it?
Maybe she’s actually right?
Maybe they just don’t like each other?
Maybe the organizers thought Maja deserved?
Whoever chose Maja to win the award has some explaining to do.
