Why? Why? Why?
Vfb has released this very short statement in regards to Idner’s shocking departure from the team.
From VfB manager Jürgen Hauke:
“We have agreed to a contract termination by the end of this month. We are grateful for everything Idi has done for us during the past years and we wish him and his family all the best.” “
Vfb’s fan are quite shocked with this news knowing that Idner played for the team from 2007-2010 and then rejoined the team in 2011 until the current season.
The reason?
According to our source, Idner’s attitude has something to do with Vfb’s decision to abruptly let him go.
“Idner really helped VfB a lot over the years but his behavior was really the problem. People at Vfb could not tolerate it anymore. With Vfb not playing too well this season, Idner’s attitude was not helping the team at all. Idner is a bit shocked with the news. He didn’t see it coming. Vfb wishes him the best. Vfb is reportedly going to hire Valentin Bratoev from Bulgaria.” says the source.
Dang!
We wonder if the 34 year old outside hitter from Brazil still has enough time to find a new team. The season is almost over.
