Dec. 8th, 2010 Update: HOOKER arrived in Italy on Dec. 7th.
Make way for Miss Hooker please…thank you ladies and gentlemen!
American opposite, DESTINEE HOOKER, has finally arrived in Pesaro for her Italian League and Champions League debut. We bet she’s excited! She’s playing in 2 of the world’s most prestigious leagues. Hooker will be be playing together with Martina Guiggi (the middle blocker from Italy who didn’t make it the World Champs), Usic from Croatia (the player Hooker collided with when USA played Croatia at the World Champs) and the beautiful, the talented and the humble player from The Netherlands, MANON FLIER!
Our question now is: Hooker and Flier are amazing athletes but they both play as opposite hitters. We have a feeling Hooker will play outside (just like in college) and Flier will keep her opposite position. Wow! Pesaro looks good on paper! Pesaro hasn’t been performing well since the debut of both league so we wish them the best!
We bet Destinee will get along with her new teammates! We can’t wait to see her pics and read her Twitter updates! She loves keeping her fans posted and we appreciate her for that.
