If the rumors are true…
Mitar Djurić becomes the HIGHEST PAID Greek Volleyball Player Of All Time (?).
After a successful season with Turkish club team Halkbank Ankara, the middle blocker/opposite hitter is reportedly going to play in the Korean League next season.
According to a source familiar with the transfer…
“Mitar received an offer from Korean club team KEPCO 45 and of course he could not refused the offer knowing that he’s getting paid 1 MILLION EUROS for just one season.”
The source also adds that Mitar has mentioned that he is interested to play in Asia and the Korean offer makes it possible.
“He has achieved so much success with former club teams Trentino and Halkbank Ankara and now it’s time to make a lot of money to prepare for his future.” ends the source.
We are just waiting for the official news.
Take note, the 25 year old will be replacing Brazilian hitter Leandro Vissotto who has publicly criticized how Korean club teams practice and that it’s NOT the best place for world class players to play in.
Mitar better talk to Leandro before making that FINAL decision.
Stay tuned…
