In case you missed it, Alyssa Valdez and 3BB Nokornonnt officially confirmed the news a few days ago. Alyssa will head to Thailand early next year.
Alyssa’s Statement:
“I thank 3BB Nakornnont for giving me the opportunity to join them next year. We are still threshing out details as of now, but I will be flying to Thailand on January 15 to begin preparing for a tournament starting January 29. I am very excited about this and hope that this open doors for more Filipino volleyball players to get the chance to play overseas. This is a blessing that has been very timely as we celebrate Christmas season.
I’d like to request your prayers and support since this is a challenge I’ve never encountered before. I also like to thank my family, friends and fans for sticking with me through thick and thin.
It’s always been a dream to play internationally and this is a very important step to making it happen. Thank you.”
The 2016 Volleywood Idol makes history as THE FIRST FILIPINO PLAYER to play professionally outside the Philippines.

2016 Volleywood Idol from the Philippines, Alyssa Valdez, may play in the Thai League next year with 3BB Nokornonnt per tiebreakertimes.com. Although this news is NOT confirmed by all parties involved, there may be a strong possibility after Alyssa aka The Phenom stated that:
“Thailand is a definite possibility for 2017 and we hope to finalize details by early next year.”
She may join the team sometime in January or February and will play with local Thai volleyball stars Som Kuthaisong, Tichaya Boonlert & Kokram Pimpichaya.
For now, Alyssa is celebrating the Christmas season with her loved ones and may officially announce the news in the coming weeks.
