2014 Volleywood Idol, Rachel Daquis aka RAD, from the Philippines has been chosen as the team captain for the FIVB Women’s Club World Championship next month, Oct 18th-23rd, in Manila. The 28-year-old is playing for the host team, PSL MANILA, together with some local talents and 6 other imports.

RAD is joined by some of the biggest stars in the country like Jaja Santiago, Mika Reyes, Kim Fajardo, Jen Reyes, Jovelyn Gonzaga and Frances Molina. They are dubbed as the “Magnificent Seven”.
It will be a world class treat for Filipino fans since the tourney will also feature some of world’s BEST club teams and they are:

The annual tournament will also feature world class volleyball players led by 2016 Olympic Champion Zhu Ting, 2014 World Champion Jordan Larson, European Champion Tatiana Kosheleva and Two-Time Olympic Champion Thaisa.
