American outside hitter, Cynthia Barboza, is reportedly injured and has left her Russian club team Ufa to seek treatment in the United States. According to our source, it is a knee related injury. We hope it’s not the same knee she had problems with back in college.
In all fairness to Cynthia, she played a great season with her team despite the short stay. She was among her team’s top scorer and even defeated Destinee Hooker’s team (Krasnodar) in one of the league matches.
