We wonder how much $$$ they’d get for next season but we’ve been told Larson is one of the highest paid foreign players in the Russian League.
Knowing how hardworking she is, every penny Kazan spends on her is worth it!
Despite not making it to the Final 4 of the Champions League, Russia’s #1 club team, Dinamo Kazan, has renewed the contracts of Ekaterina Gamova and Jordan Larson.
Other Kazan players getting the extension for the 2013/2014 season are setter Eugenia Startseva, middle blockers Regina Moroz and Maria Borisenko and libero Ekaterina Kabeshova-Ulanova for the next season.
No word yet if Kazan will have their 2 other starters Heather Bown and Lesya Makhno for next season.
In case you didn’t know, Kazan terminated the contract of Tatiana Kosheleva for this season due to the sad fact that Koshe was not physically fit to play due to some recovery issues from back and knee injuries. Koshe will play for Dinamo Moscow starting next season.
There’s also a rumor that Natalia Goncharova-Obmochaeva (pic below) will join the team next season BUT knowing she and Gamova reportedly have issues then we doubt that it’s going to happen. Source says that since Natalia’s husband plays for Kazan’s men’s team, then there is a small possibility. We’d cross our toes and fingers on this one1
Kazan might have missed the Champions League Final 4 but the girls are busy training for the upcoming Playoff Round of the Russian Super League.
Good luck ladies!
