But…
83 ATTEMPTS is too much!
Russian outside hitter and one of the world’s best spikers, Tatiana Kosheleva, scored a whooping 46 points for her Russian club team, Dinamo Krasnodar, against Proton in an epic 5 set match. Even if she played great with Foluke Akinradewo’s 18 points, her team still lost.
Koshe’s numbers: 83 attempts and scored 43 with a 52% efficiency, 2 blocks and 1 ace = 46 points.
Anyways…
As much as we want to praise her for this superb performance, we’re also concerned for Kosheleva. She just recovered from an injury several months ago which ruined her participation at the 2011 European Championship. We think she’s doing too much for her team which might result to another injury. We don’t want to be pessimistic but we just hope she won’t be too harsh on her body and then suffer an injury when the international season kicks off.
Russia needs her since they haven’t qualified for the 2012 Olympics and the European Olympic Qualifier is not an easy tournament.
Take it easy Koshe!
