2 time Olympic Champion Sheilla Castro joins Vakifbank!

Look at that million dollar $mile on her face!

Sheilla says…

“I’m happy with this contract. Vakifbank is a really strong team and I came here to win only trophy that missing in my career – The Champions league. I’m glad that I will live in Istanbul as well.”

Rumor has it that her husband has also been offered a job to work as part of the coaching staff for a basketball team.

There’s been an ongoing rumor that Sheilla will join Turkish club team Vakifbank next season.

If it’s true then Serbian opposite Jovana Brakocevic is going to end up leaving the team.

Our source says…

“Knowing that she is a two time Olympic gold medalist and one of the world’s best players, Sheilla receives a lot of offers every season. At the moment, Vakifbank is interested to sign her up in case Jovana and Vakifbank cannot agree on the contract terms and demands for next season. At the moment, nothing is set in stone.”

The source also adds that Sheilla is hesitant to leave Brazil due to her husband’s work.

“She is a wife now and playing overseas and being away from her husband needs a lot of sacrifice. Sheilla and Brenno are evaluating their options for next season. But I believe Sheilla will stay in Molico Osasco.”

On the other hand, Brakocevic has aired her thoughts about next season.

She seems annoyed with the news that she will play for another team even though the Turkish season is not yet over.

Vakifbank can’t go wrong if they hire Sheilla or Jovana knowing that they are 2 of the world’s best opposite players.
