We thought her injury wasn’t that serious.
It appears Misty May needs more time to recover from the minor knee injury she sustained at the Sangya Open a couple of weeks ago. Her partner, Kerri Walsh, will now play with Nicole Branagh Brittany Hochevar at the 2011 Myslowice Open in Poland (May 17th-May 22nd).
For sure the Walsh-Hochevar team up is just for the Poland tournament. Hochevar partners with Jennifer Fopma and they’ve played together in the last 3 FIVB tournaments (Brasilia, Sangya and Shanghai).
Walsh and Hochever are not qualified for the Main Draw due to points so they will play in the Qualifier and hopefully win it to compete in the Main Draw. It’ll be a long journey for them but we’re optimistic they’d go great!
