SYKORA UPDATE: The medical staff at Hospital Sírio-Libanês in Sao Paulo has announced that Sykora needs to remain hospitalized to make sure she is OK. The American libero hit her head during the accident then fainted with a cut on her head. She is admitted in one of the best hospitals in Brazil. The doctors declined to release any further information about her condition. (Per Globoesporte)
Stacy’s teammate, Joycinha, has posted on her Twitter that Stacy is going to be OKAY. Her condition is nothing serious.
It’s great to know Stacy is OK.

On the other hand, Sykora’s teammates suffered minor injuries: A staff member has a fractured arm, Ana Cristina (setter) suffered cuts caused by glass & Fernanda Gritzbach has small cuts & scratches.
