We’re not sure when China started this tournament but it’s an annual tourney wherein China invites 3 teams for a series of matches to be held in different cities. The 2011 China Volley Masters tournament will be from May 28th to June 4th. The 1st leg will be in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province & Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province will host the 2nd leg.
This year, Dominican Republic, Cuba and The Netherlands accepted the invitation.
Here are the results of the First Leg so far:
Cuba 3-0 Netherlands (25-17, 25-19, 26-24)
China 3-0 Domnican Republic (25-16, 25-17, 25-17)
Dominican Republic 3-2 The Netherlands (18-25 27-25 19-25 25-19 15-10)
China 3-0 Cuba (25-11 25-11 25-21)
