Once again we are down to the Field of 64 & never without controversy. We’ve truly seen it all in this crazy & wacky season of major upsets, coaches being fired and/or leaving, players committing felonies, injuries & downright choking!

This is great news! Equality For All! The NCAA gods and goddesses have announced that transgendered athletes can now compete in any NCAA sanctioned sports. We hope this development will inspire groups to welcome any individual regardless of their sexual orientation.

Well volleyball fans the first two weeks are officially in the books! And boy did we witness some interesting ball. Everything from top ranked upsets to the departure of highly touted player. IF this is any indication of the season, we are certainly in for a dramatic treat!

As we near the end of another great summer, this could only mean ONE thing. Its Women’s College Volleyball time! Hello all you volleyball fans. Are you ready for yet another exciting season? I can certainly see all you volleywooders are anxiously awaiting the last week of August 2011.
What a star studded list! The American Coaches Volleyball Association aka AVCA has released the 2011 All American Teams. USC & BYU lead with 3 athletes each while 2 players Stanford & UCSB gained honors as well. Check out the Full List! Congratulations BBs!
We really prayed to the NCAA gods and goddesses to grant the Cardinal a spot in the Final 4 but sadly it’s not happening anymore. Read their official statement!
The NCAA Men’s Volleyball Playoffs officially started last weekend with a few upsets! We still find it hard to believe that a couple of our favorite top ranked teams like BYU and defending champs Stanford are out of the tourney. Shocking! Read our HONEST opinion on some MPSF teams.
Why not? Despite not winning any NCAA title, we still think she’s one of the best young players in the nation. It will be such an honor and a great experience to see her play in one of the most prestigious leagues in the world.
This sucks! Due to a mistake on how scholarships were awarded, the men’s volleyball team gets banned from postseason. Ugh! Lessons learned from this “administrative error” and we hope for the best.
