Coach Alekno Declined Poland’s Call
Russia’s Vladimir Alekno, reveals that he got a call from the Polish Federation to take over Anastasi’s position but had to say no to the offer.

As we confirmed yesterday, Nikola Grbic is the new setter of Zenit Kazan. After 19 seasons in Italy, the 40 year old could not decline Zenit’s $$$$$ offer. Have fun in Russia!

UPDATE: Zenit Kazan has confirmed the news that Zygadlo is out for an indefinite period of time. We’ve been told that it’s pretty serious & the season might be over for him.

After playing for Fakel, the 2012 World League champion from Poland will now play for another Russian club team, Zenit Kazan. Lukasz reportedly signed a 2 year contract to replace Italian setter Valerio Vermiglio.
