2008 Olympic Silver medalist Kim “Kimmie” Glass and Destinee Hooker attended the 2011 Sports Spectacular last week together with more than 80 other world class athletes to celebrate an evening with a cause.
Former NCAA rivals Destinee (Texas) & Blake Griffin (Univ. of Oklahoma) who now plays for Los Angeles Clippers.
We must admit they make a great couple. Don’t you think? We bet if they’d have kids, their kids would be like 5’5 already at birth. We kid! We kid!
On the other hand, the American volleybelles had the chance to meet the super tall Mini Me.

Des with American stage, film and television actor Sam Trammell who is best known for his role as Sam Merlotte in the HBO vampire series “True Blood”.
We’re very happy that Kimmie and Des got invited to attened this event to represent USA Volleyball and Volleyball in general.
