We’re not kidding!
Three women donated a $2.5 million facility to the YMCA in Meridian, Idaho which has 4 basketball courts, 6 volleyball courts and a workout center. Jill Stevens, Susan Norby and Linda Yanke declined to receive any media attention and recognition so we’d give them a big instead.
We’re not even in Idaho but we are really thankful for their generosity.
At the moment, there are about 2,000 members and as expected the membership rate continues to climb. If ever we visit Idaho. we’d check out this place for sure. It’s quite big! It’s 42,000 square feet + a fitness facility which is 7,000 square feet.
Basketball and cheerleading classes are provide. They even hired Roberto Bergersen from Boise State University and with the Idaho Stampede.
Anyways, we suggest volleyball coaches and players in Idaho to check this place out and inquire about their volleyball classes. Knowing there are 6 courts, we guess they plan on hiring people who want to start and manage their volleyball program.
