Despite failing to advance to the second round, Austria is a still a Big Winner to us!
Austria’s men’s volleyball team has fully committed to support and promote “Humans for Humans” in their country. This humanitarian act was created by Austrian actor, Karlheinz Böhm, which aims to help our brothers and sisters in Ethiopia, an impoverished third world African country.

“Humans for Humans” has made a difference in the lives of about 4.5 million Ethiopians.
Side Dish: Austria is the co-host of the ongoing 2011 European Championship. The team failed to advance to the second round after losing to Serbia, Turkey and Slovenia.
