Faith and strength can move mountains indeed.
Alexandra Garcia, 16 year old volleyball player, suffered severe brain damage after A-T-V accident last June when the driver crashed the vehicle into a tree. Garcia was not wearing a helmet at that time and was in a coma for 8 days.
A couple of months later, she has returned to play volleyball for her varsity team last Monday. Her parents now call her a “miracle child.”
Alexandra says…
“I thank God every day, everybody, everyday, just to be back and back to myself.”
Her dad, Alex, cannot contain how much joy he and his wife for their daughter’s amazing story.
“Just to watch her play, to even be on a court is a miracle, it’s there’s just no words for it. Even the doctors are scratching their heads, don’t understand how someone with such trauma could come out of this that quick, and much less be at a varsity volleyball game right now.
I always said if you ever had a doubt in God, this is a walking angel right here.”
The Madison High School senior student doesn’t remember the incident & she is undergoing therapy.
