These pictures really touched our hearts.
Last weekend, a group of kids from the Herosi Foundation took time to visit and watch the 2nd World League match between Polska and USA. After the match, the kids took some funny pic with some Polish players.
As you can see from these pics, everyone was having a wonderful time despite Poland losing the match.

More about the visit…
To celebrate the Children’s Day we decided to make a surprise and take them to the volleyball World League match between Poland and USA. The match took place in Lodz Atlas Arena. Together with the children we turned up at the train station early in the morning, soon the train headed to Łódź. We arrived well before the game, so there was time for some sightseeing. We walked down Piotrowska street and then ate pizza to have the strength to cheer for our representation. In the sports hall the children dressed white and red colors, and joined the 10,000 fans to support our team. Although our players didn’t win this time, the game was an unforgettable experience for the children .
Shortly after the match we were invited for an exclusive meeting with the volleyball players. We saw the place where no one has access, where interviews are conducted and volleyball players have their own dressing rooms. Children asked the sportsmen to participate in a contest for the funniest face. Despite the fact that the players didn’t feel good after losing a match as soon as they heard the proposed play, burst out laughing.
We would like to thank Eko Taxi for help in conveying the children to and from the railway station, and the Polish Association of Volleyball for the invitation to the match.
How Fun! Can we get an invite next time please? We want to join the Funny Face contest. LoL!
We think Zbigniew made the cutest and goofiest face out of them all!
Anyways, here’s more…
