What a great role model!
In an interview published by chepalle.gazzetta.it, the Serbian opposite hitter who currently plays in the Italian League for Sir Safety PERUGIA shares that he prioritizes his volleyball career and also his education.
“I have finished the second year. Luckily, I am allowed to study through a special program due to my commitment with the National Team. If not for this program, I don’t know how I would manage my studies and volleyball obligations.
I care a lot about my education because I know that my parents, who are both doctors, would be really disappointed if I decided to quit school. Also, I know that I can stay playing volleyball for 10, maybe 15 years more, and then I will have to do something else in life.
My goal is to become a lawyer.”
While it may seem hard to find balance in doing both, it looks like Aleksandar knows what he really wants to accomplish in life.
Good luck BB!
