Restaurateur Honors Alexey Spiridonov

This is a pretty cool!

Despite leaving Russian club team, Ural Ufa, Volleywood’s Tintin is getting some love from the city. A restaurateur decided to name his business “Tin-Tin” to honor Alexey Spiridonov.

Business owner Ildar Gatiatullin…

“We decided to call the bar Tin-Tin, as it is one of the world’s most famous nicknames for Spiridonov. He and I became friends in the past year and we communicate quite often. I flew to the finals of the European Championship and he handed me his team jersey. I have accumulated an impressive collection of t-shirts. I expect that he will be a DJ in this club when he has the time.”

Ildar also revealed that he spoke with the European Champion beforehand to make sure it’d be ok.
