The volleyball world is mourning again.

Andrés ‘Drex’ Castro, who played in the 2nd division of the Argentinian League, was robbed and shot a few meters away from his home yesterday. The 24 year old was attacked together with his girlfriend by 2 men who then hook his backpack before shooting him in the chest.

Police are still searching for the suspects.

According to some sources, ambulance was called but never came. Random strangers drove Drex to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
