The 20 year old outside hitter is one of Italy’s up and coming stars. After winning the gold medal at the 2008 Junior European Championship plus The Best Spiker Award, Laura is currently playing for Liu Jo Modena in the Italian League – one of the world’s most prestigious leagues.
We haven’t seen much of the 1.82m striker except at the 2011 Volley Masters Tournament in Switzerland when she played for the Italian National Team. Her beauty and moves on the court totally reminded us of her very popular teammate, Francesca Piccinini.
We have a feeling that we’re going to see more of her in the coming year.
During the 2010/2011 season, Laura was awarded by the Italian League with the Premio Arnaldo Eynard, Miglior Under 20 (Best Under 20 Player Of The Year).
