Logan Tom is officially back!
A few days ago, she was officially presented as the newest player of Italian club team Ornavasso.
Logan Tom:

There’s no confirmation yet but according to our source Logan Tom is going to play in the Italian League and she might be officially presented to the media in the next few days OR will play her first match vs Forli on March 2nd, 2014.
“There is a strong chance she will sign with 9th ranked Openjobmetis Ornavasso who is currently struggling in the Italian League. They need someone as stable and experienced as Logan.” according to our source.
Italian website tuttonotizie.info posted a pic of Logan together with Ornavasso’s Team Manager a week ago.
“If Logan wants to play for Team USA at the 2014 World Championship then this is a good start for her if the deal materializes. She has been inactive since the 2012 Olympics because of her studies.” ends the source.
We hope it’s true. We miss Logan!

No wonder she’s been missing in action and did NOT sign to play for any club team this season.
According to the update from the USA Volleyball, the 4 time Olympian and 2 time Olympic silver medalist is finishing her studies at Stanford. Here’s more:
Logan Tom (Salt Lake City, Utah) has taken a break from volleyball this summer and fall as she pursues the completion of her international business degree from Stanford University. Earlier this month Tom was honored with induction into the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame. She was a four-time AVCA All-America First-Team and two-time AVCA Player of the Year. She went on to be the youngest U.S. Olympic Women’s Volleyball Team member at the age of 19 in the 2000 Sydney Games and played in three additional Olympic Games in Athens, Beijing and London to become a four-time Olympian.
Tom has earned two Olympic Games silver medals in Beijing and London, earning the Best Scorer award in Beijing.

In case you didn’t know, Queen Logan was honored with induction into the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame last month as one of the most prolific volleyball players in school history.
Also, Queen LT first enrolled at Stanford in 1999, where she attended through 2002, but did not graduate with her class. According to Stanford, she left 50 units shy of completing her major in December 2002, her last term of college athletics eligibility.
We just want to add that the plastic chairs used in the interview are just complete eyesore. Come on Stanford! A leather seat would’ve been great for the Queen of USA Volleyball. LOL!
Regardless, GO STANFORD!
