In case you didn’t know, Giba and Cristina Pirv filed for divorce more than 6 months ago. The latter stated that Giba’s infidelity, partying, drinking and irreconcilable differences left her with no choice but to end their marriage after 9 years.

Fast forward to today…
Giba has a new girlfriend and she’s none other model/ philanthropist Maria Luiza Dautt.
The 36 year old revealed during a recent guesting at a Brazilian TV show that he is no longer loveless.
The 2004 Olympic gold medalist also revealed that his divorce with Cristina will be finalized soon. They have both signed the papers and will wait for the court to legally end their union. Some terms on their divorce include visiting rights for Giba and custody of their 2 kids, Nicole and Patrick, who will be both live in Brazil despite Pirv’s Romanian roots.
The only item that’s pending is the separation of their assets which will take a few weeks.
It’s great that they have settled everything. Most of all, Giba and Cristina took the high road handling their divorce for the sake of their 2 adorable children.
