Anyways, below are some pics of Mikhaylov, Berezhko, Volkov, Biryukov and the rest of their teammates training for the 2012 season. After successfully winning the 2011 World League and the 2011 World Cup, Russia is expected to win the gold at the upcoming 2012 London Olympics. We can’t even imagine the pressure these players feel. We just hope they won’t end up choking during the crucial matches in London just like during the 2000 Olympics gold medal, 2008 Olympic semifinal match versus USA and the 2011 European Championship semifinal against Serbia just to name a few.
Oops! We almost forgot the name of the city where our Russian BBs train. They train at the Волей Град facility in Anapa. Per Wikipedia: Anapa (Russian: Ана́па) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the northern coast of the Black Sea near the Sea of Azov.
