Polish League Finals.
Really? What’s up with Belchatow lately?
After missing the Final Four of the Champions League, Kurek, Winiarski, Wlazly and Team Skra Belchatow are now playing in the Gold Medal Round of the Polish League. They are definitely the favorite team to win the crown knowing they finished 1st after the regular season.

Unfortunately, Zaks Kedzierzyn Kozle proved too strong for Belchatow in their first match and won an epic 5 set battle. Faustino Lima Martins Idner aka Idi (see pic below) hammered 18 pts for the win while Belchatow’s Kurek & Wlazly fired 22pts and 20pts respectively.
It’s just the first match and there’s no doubt Belchatow will try to turn things around when they play again. Best of 5 Finals so they have a few chances left.
