The Best Middle Blocker in the world, ROBERTLANDY SIMON, and scoring machine, KENIA CARCASES, have been awarded as Cuba’s Best Male and Female Athletes of 2010.
We all know that Simon is not just one of the best middle blockers in the world but he’s also a greats spiker and a great server! Aside from these amazing skills, Simon is also an amazing leader on the court. He’s always positive and knows how to cheer up his team when they’re down. He lets his game speaks and we never see him talking trash across the net. He’s our Cuban Idol!
Hands Down on Carcases! What an incredible athlete! She fights for her team and her teammates relies heavily on her to score points. Well, we saw her big banging performance last year at the World Champs in Japan. She was just a scoring machine and it looks like she will hold on to that role while Cuba fights for a ticket in the 2012 Olympics. Kenia is phenomenal! If Cuba had Luis in the 90s and Ruiz in the 2000s well this generation has Kenia.
