Below is Czech Republic’s newly designed jersey by Adidas they will wear at the 2011 European Championship which they will co-host with Austria:
A press conference was held this morning in Prague organized by the national Organizing Committee of the EuroVolley 2011. The event was attended by the main officials Czech Volleyball family like superstar player Jan Stokr (pictured), Czech Rep’s head coach Jan Svoboda, President Zdenek Hanik & CEV Vice President Jan Hronek.
In case you didn’t know, Stokr was voted as the MVP of the Final Round in the Italian League this past season.
According to Mr. Hronek, a total of 37 million crowns have been budgeted by the Czech side of the Organizing Committee, while Austria will be busy also with the XXXII CEV General Assembly that will run in Vienna through next September 16-17, 2011.
That’s a lot of money!

Anyways, we wish Czech Republic the best as they host the 2011 European Championship later this year. Stokr and Team played great volleyball at the 2010 World Championship. They almost beat Brazil in an epic 5 set match.
They have what it takes to medal at the European Champs.
