Unnecessary.
Fans can sometimes get aggressive and we completely understand but when fans start to get physical and start punching each other then it’s definitely WRONG & UNACCEPTABLE. Loud boos & whistles are considered normal but to FIGHT especially during a match needs to be resolved immediately.
For example…
Some Tianjin Fans are known to be very aggressive and could get very rude when there’s a match. Remember THIS? Some fans have used laser pointers to distract Logan and her teammates when they serve, they’ve thrown water bottles, they’ve played instruments to distract timeouts and they’ve also screamed and uttered derogatory names to the visiting players, ie Feng Kun and Coach Jenny Lang Ping.
During the Chinese League Final Match between Logan Tom and Team Evergrande against the home team Tianjin Bridgestone, opposing fans got too serious and started punching & yelling at each other while the match was taking place. Security could hardly do anything to stop the fracas. Just watch the video below…
So Wrong! So Wrong! No need to hurt each other!
It’s also distracting for the players, especially the visiting team.
We hope the Chinese Volleyball Federation will start working on how to avoid this from happening again. China is set to host a few international volleyball events this year, ie 2011 Grand Prix Final Round, and we hope the Federation is working on resolving this big concern.
THIS ACTION NEEDS TO BE STOPPED and PREVENTED!
