Look at that smile on her face!
One of the world’s best players from Korea has officially signed a 2 year contract with one of the richest club teams in the world, .Fenerbahce Acibadem. Kim was officially presented to the media over the weekend.
The amount of her contract was not officially disclosed by both parties (Darn It!).
In case you didn’t know, Kim will be playing with Russian superstar Lioubov Sokolova, American superstar Logan Tom and possibly Brazilian middle blocker Fabiana Claudino (unofficial report) at the 2011/2012 edition of the Champions League. They will join a group of talented Turkish players like Naz Aydemir, Eda Erdem and Seda.
Knowing that the Turkish Federation will only allow 2 foreign players (3 last season) on the court during the upcoming Turkish League season, we’re not sure if Kim will be one of the 2 but for sure she will get playtime.
In our opinion, Kim and Saori (Japan) are 2 of the world’s best Asian players. The 22 yr old Kim is a very talented all around player. She can score lots of points and always shows a great fighting spirit whenever she plays with the Korean National Team or her club team.
She has spent the last 4 seasons of her professional career in Japan with tons of success and several MVP awards.
Kim will for sure help Fenerbahce achieve it’s dream of winning the Champions League after failing to win it this past season. With the great Ze Guimaraes as the coach, fulfilling the dream is very possible.
On the other hand, we are also very excited for Logan’s official presentation!
