If you do, then you’re lucky.
If not, then just hang in there because LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games) promises to include & prioritize your ticket applications in the secondary ballot later in the year.
We’ve learned that LOCOG received 20 million applications for the 6.6 million seats available. The committee has previously admitted that some fans who are very excited to attend the 2012 Olympics will miss out the event.

For example…
The 100 metre final , for which there are Only 40,000 seats are available for the 100 meter final yet more than 1 million applications were received.
Dang!
If you have applied for tickets, check the credit card you used since LOCOG has already started charging for tickets. If you are charged less than what you applied for, then that means you’re not getting tickets for some of the events you’d want to see.
Getting frustrated is completely understandable at this point just like
James Toney, a sports journalist. His card has been debited £206 and he’s ONLY getting 4 seats after applying for £3,000 worth of tickets to increase his chances. “For all Locog’s talk about affordability and accessibility, their ticketing strategy favours the more affluent and that cannot be right. Their system favours those who gamble big, applying for lots of popular tickets, in the hope of winning small.” according to Toney.
At least he got 4 right?
Maybe James wants to add Stephen Hunt on Facebook and befriend him because he has won $11,000 worth of Olympic tickets.
Lucky!
Anyways, we’re still optimistic that those who have applied will get to attend their most favorite events.
We hope there’s still room for us though!
