They did it!
Kazakhstan will compete in the 2011 edition of the Grand Prix after defeating Algeria twice (3-0, 3-0) this past weekend in Blida, Algeria.
Kazakhstan has previously competed in the 2007 and 2008 Grand Prix finishing 10th and 12th respectively. The world ranked #19 team from Asia will now join Group D host China, USA aka defending champions and Serbia who is making their first appearance in the Grand Prix.
The tourney kicks off on August 5th.
With 16 teams competing this year, it’s going to be huge!
