Sorry Molten & Tachikara, Mikasa has acquired licensing, sponsoship and marketing right for all FIVB indoor and beach events from 2013 until 2016. That’s a lot of Mikasa! The contract signing was held in Lausanne, Switzerland and attended by FIVB President, Mr. Jizhong Wei, and Mr. Taketoshi Saeki, President of the Mikasa Corporation.
The following events will use Mikasa Balls:
- FIVB Volleyball World Championships
- FIVB Volleyball World Cup
- FIVB Volleyball World League
- World Grand Prix
- FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships
- FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
Mikasa will also be the official ball of the 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympic Games!
