One of the best Chinese setters we’ve ever seen has retired from volleyball.
2008 Olympic bronze medalist and 2016 Olympic champion, Wei Qiuyue, made her final appearance on the volleyball court at the recently concluded National Games in China. The 28 year old will now focus on her personal life and possibly start a family.
With the national team, Wei won gold at the 2015 FIVB World Cup and silver, silver medal at the 2014 World Championship and silver the 2007 FIVB Grand Prix.
Thank you for all the volleyball memories Wei!!!
We wish you the best as you begin a new chapter.
