Yay! She is back!
After skipping the recently concluded Volleyball Nations League where Japan finished a disappointing 10th place, 2012 Olympic bronze medalist and veteran middle blocker Erika Araki is back with the team to train for the upcoming World Championship.

It’s great to have her back on the team. She is still Japan’s best middle blocker and also the most experienced. If there’s one thing missing from the Japanese team at the VNL, it was leadership and no doubt Araki will change at the Word Championship supported by their home fans.
