A few weeks ago in Cambodia, Pov Sila, 25-year-old man, was killed with a samurai-style sword by a man who had an argument with his brother during a volleyball game. The suspect went to the victim’s house to look for the brother. While trying to defend his sibling, the suspect slashed him repeatedly across the head and body.
Sila was taken by his family to the nearest hospital but didn’t make it due to severe blood loss. His brother, who suffered deep wounds, was taken to a private clinic and he is expected to survive.
The suspect, Chhuk Savuth, received medical treatment but later escaped.
As of press time, he still remains at large.
We hope Cambodian police will find him and have him pay for the crime he committed.
