Volleywood’s TinTin lashes out at Russian media who initially doubted Russia’s chances of becoming the most successful men’s volleyball team in 2013 after winning Olympic Gold in 2012.
Per Alexey Spiridonov:
“The past year turned out as the best in my career.
It all began with the Challenge Cup final with Ural, then continued with two trophies with Russian national team. Also, journalists chose us as the team of the year (Russia). I am really glad to win such recognition because it was the same journalists who wrote that we coukld not repeat the team’s success after the Olympics.
Nobody believed in us, but after 2013 no one will ever underestimate us.”
All we can say is that Russia remains as one of the STRONGEST TEAMS in the world since 2011.
