“The captain of Rabita BAKU Volleyball Club Team, Natalya Mammadova, was presented the special ’’Medal for Improvement ’’. The award was presented to her by the Azerbaijani Republic President Ilham Aliyev and Ali Abbasov, the Minister of Information and Technology of Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan and world’s volleyball star Natalya Mammadova who was awarded by the Azerbaijani Republic President Ilham Aliyev with this medal for her outstanding job for Azerbaijani volleyball thanked the President and said that she would continue to contribute improving of Azerbijani volleyball.
Mammadova has been playing for the national team for several years and is one of the most popular sportswomen of Azerbaijan. She is the only player who has received this prestigious award.
Knowing it the recognition comes from the President, this award also brings great honor to Mammadova’s professional club team, Rabita Baku.”
