Earvin Ngapeth Leaves Modena For Zenit Kazan

IT’S OFFICIAL!

One of the world’s most infamous famous players, Earvin Ngapeth, has officially announced that he is leaving his Italian club team Modena to join Zenit Kazan in Russia next season. Earvin’s statement was released by L’Équipe.

“I made the decision to leave.

I am going to Kazan because of 2 simple reasons. The first reason is that I feel I have finished my cycle in Modena. I’ve been there for four and a half years and, apart from winning the Champions League, I’ve won everything. I feel like I’ve entered a routine at the end of a cycle. I miss something. I feel the need to see something else and put myself at stake to rediscover the motivation.

The other reason is Coach Stoytchev. He’s a good coach, but not my type of coach. You know, we’ve discussed it several times. We had occasional, human disagreements. I like having my freedom to play. He has two more years of the contract and I cannot go on like this much longer, so I should better leave. I spoke with the president (Catia Pedrini). It’s difficult because I adore her and she feels the same but I cannot give up an opportunity to go to Kazan.”

Speaking of Pedrini, she has also released a statement calling out Earvin’s PREMATURE announcement of his transfer. Modena’s president had hoped he’d share the news when the season is officially over. As of press time, Earvin and Modena are still competing in the Semifinals of the Italian League.

Let’s not forget the amazing things Modena did for Earvin. The entire team was there for him in every wrongdoing he did. Instead of taking more serious actions towards his behavior, they still embraced his imperfections and mistakes off the court.

With Earvin’s arrival in Kazan, this also confirms the departure of Wilfredo Leon who is reportedly going to play in Italy with Perugia. Please take note that Zenit Kazan has NOT released any statement regarding the hiring of Ngapeth.
