Some of Volleywood’s biggest stars have paid tribute and took time time to remember Italian middle blocker, Sara Anzanello, who passed away yesterday at the age of 38 years old.
Former teammate Martina Guiggi shared a very emotional post on her Instagram about the first time she met Sara.
Riposa in pace. Tvb❤”

You were a great friend outside volleyball. How many crazy evenings we shared? How many laughs together? You have been an example for everyone even after your battle with the disease. You’re a warrior. You fought for your life just like you did in the field. Thank you for everything. You make us appreciate the really important things in life. Your memory will always remain in the hearts of the people you have touched with your lightheartedness and fortitude. Rest in peace. Tvb❤
