OMG!
Romanian volleyball player Iuliana Nucu has sustained VERY SERIOUS injuries while on holiday. The 32 year old was hit by a car. She is recovering at a hospital in Bucharest & will most likely undergo surgery for her lower limbs.
In case you didn’t know, Nucu is one of the best middle blockers in the Italian League. She has played for Bergamo, Crema and has signed on to play for Novara this coming season.
With this injury, her future with the team is unknown at this point.
We pray for her as she recovers and hope that this injury will not affect her volleyball career.
