She better return! She can’t give us false hopes this time around.
Poland’s beloved opposite hitter, Kasia Skowronska, honestly confessed before that she’d only rejoin the Polish Team if Coach Matlak is no longer the coach. Well, her wish came true since the Polish Federation has axed Matlak and hired a new coach named, Alojzy Swiderek.
In her most recent interview with Sport.pl, Kasia has provided hints that her return is possible. She said that her situation has not changed but stated that the door to rejoin team is more open than before. Kasia also shared that Swiderek’s style of coaching is like the Italian system which she likes and prefers.
What are you waiting for Kasia? Give him a call and schedule your meeting with him immediately. Polska needs you!
In case you didn’t know, Kasia and Coach Swiderek have worked together in the past when the latter was the assistant coach of the Polish team some years ago.
If she decides to play for Poland again, she cannot play at the Grand Prix since Poland has submitted it’s roster already but she can for sure represent Poska at the 2011 European Championship which is in a couple of months.
Kasia is a 2 time European Champion (2003 & 2005).
Side Dish: Kasia will play in China for Team Evergrande coached by Lang Ping this coming club season. She also bought a new house in Poznań – Poland’s fifth largest city.
