There are a lot of European players who are some of the world’s most well known scoring machines Elisa Vasilieva, Barbara Jelic-Ruzic, Natalya Mammadova, Ekaterina Gamova, Kasia Skowronska and Olessya Rykhliuk just to name a few.
At the recently concluded 2015 European Games, Azerbaijan’s Polina Rahimova made a name for herself to become the 2015 European Games’ Scoring Machine.
According to this article by cev.lu, the 25 year old scored 215 points in 8 matches (32 sets)!
Polina and Team may have lost in the bronze medal match versus Serbia but she is not going home empty handed. With this achievement, no doubt we are going to see and hear more of Polina in future tournaments scoring tons of points for her team.
